My wife and I recently travelled through Europe and the pickpockets were in plague proportions in both Paris and Rome. Even though we were on the lookout for them we had 2 attempted thefts — thankfully the Foldie crossbody with its added security features prevented them getting our valuables.
I was in Italy for the summer and I bought this bag to prevent getting pickpocketed and it worked really well. Someone actually tried to get into the bag at the Colosseum and they failed miserably because the lock that blocks the zipper prevented them from opening the bag.

This is the perfect bag to help you feel safer while shopping at outdoor markets, especially those in high pick pocket areas.
The straps have a piece of wire running through so the bad is likely to stay attached. This fots under a coat or outside of the coat in front of your body.
