My wife and I recently travelled through Europe and the pickpockets were in plague proportions in both Paris and Rome. Even though we were on the lookout for them we had 2 attempted thefts — thankfully the Foldie crossbody with its added security features prevented them getting our valuables.
I was in Italy for the summer and I bought this bag to prevent getting pickpocketed and it worked really well. Someone actually tried to get into the bag at the Colosseum and they failed miserably because the lock that blocks the zipper prevented them from opening the bag.
I am studying abroad and was worried about pickpocketing, so all the safety features — the 3-point buckle release, knife resistant strap, zipper lock, and secret back pocket for my passport — make me feel so much safer and allow me to enjoy myself!

Is it waterproof?
The crossbody is water-resistant — it handles light rain and splashes, but it's not fully waterproof. If you're caught in heavy rain, we recommend keeping valuables in a small waterproof pouch inside.

Bought 2 Foldie Crossbody bags for our holiday in Italy. The material is well constructed and the RFID section is a welcome feature. Surprised how roomy they are. I managed to fit in sunglasses, money, diabetic kit, scarf, suncream, tissues. Comfortable to wear with the adjustable strap , and no sweaty back frim a rucksack! Great choice of colours too.
